LHCA/The Enclave HOA New Landscape Maintenance Agreement

At the January 2024 meeting, the Board proposed and agreed to bid the landscape maintenance services contract. Several vendors were identified, including our current provider. We provided two site reviews to bidding vendors.

After reviewing the bids, the Board of Directors is pleased to announce The Enclave landscape maintenance was awarded to Lake Houston Lawn Care, Inc., (LHLC), effective March 1, 2024. We are excited to have LHCA providing their services to our neighborhood.

Below are the Frequency Schedule and the Services Definitions included in the contract. A PDF is also included, separate from the embedded image.

LHCA Board Updates

Penny Psajdl, Vice President, Lake Houston Community Association resigned effective February 11. The Board would like to thank Penny for being a valuable member of the board. Penny took on the responsibility of the pool and in her first year we dealt with all types of issues, and she handled each one right on, quickly & successfully. And our annual pool inspections were always interesting; she would communicate with the inspectors and learned from their input, enabling us to successfully receive a passing inspection. She was a very active and involved member and will be missed. Thank you! Best wishes to Penny.

Northpark Drive Overpass Project
Notice of Lane Closure

HOUSTONย –ย Council Member Flickingerย would like to make Kingwood residents aware thatย Beginning February 19th, Lake Houston Redevelopment Authorityโ€™s (LHRAโ€™s) contractor, Harper Brothers Construction will be closing the right two lanes of westbound traffic near the Northpark/I-69 intersection. For this phase of work, the contractor will be installing new storm sewer pipes and inlets along with a new concrete roadway.

The first month of this closure will leave two westbound lanes open โ€“ the existing left turn lane and one through lane.ย The next 3 months of the closure will switch traffic onto the newly constructed lanes while construction of the existing left turn lane and through lane are completed. Westbound traffic should expect delays and alternative routes are encouraged.

As a result of the construction activities, please be aware of flagmen and orange traffic cones that will be put in place on-site to help with traffic flow through the construction zone.ย Businesses and residentsย will have access to driveways and sidewalks at all timesย and may experience an increase in noise levels due to trucks and equipment in the area.

For more information, you can visit LHRA’s website atย www.lakehoustonra.com.ย You can also contact Council Member Flickinger’s office at (832) 393-3008 orย districte@houstontx.gov.
