Mobile B.O.P.A Event at Kingwood Metro Park and Ride
Houston, TX – Council Member Dave Martin and the City of Houston are hosting a Batteries, Oil, Paint (latex only) and Antifreeze (B.O.P.A.) mobile collection event on Saturday, April 28, 2018, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at the Kingwood Metro Park and Ride, 3210 West Lake Houston Parkway, Kingwood, Texas 77339.
The event is free and open to all City of Houston residents. A valid Texas driver’s license or other proof of residency will be required. This is a rain or shine event, except in the case of severe weather. Business waste will not be accepted.

Below is a list of acceptable and non-acceptable items for the April 28th collection event:
ACCEPTED ITEMS: rechargeable household and automobile batteries, motor oil and filters, LATEX paint, antifreeze, small appliances and scrap metal. Used motor oil will be limited to 15 gallon. All liquids are required to be in sealed, non-leaking containers that are labeled as to their contents.
ITEMS NOT ACCEPTED: business, medical and agricultural waste; oil-based paints, solvents, flammables, pesticides, herbicides and other similar hazardous materials, and electronic waste.

Hi! We wish to introduce you to The Enclave, Lake Houston Community Association website, www.theenclavehoa.net. This site was developed to provide community information to our residents & homeowners.
Our community website is the official communication channel between the Board of Directors and the residents/homeowners. Upcoming activities and events, announcements, a calendar, deed restrictions, bylaws, and architectural review forms can all be found there. The website provides ready answers to most of the questions homeowners have. If you don’t find the information you need here, the Board of Directors and Community Asset Management can be contacted through the email link at CONTACT US.
In association with the August 29, 2017 flooding, we will be trying to keep you updated with news from our local & state representatives and organizations either through NEWS postings or providing you with links to their articles.
New postings on the NEWS section will be consolidated and sent weekly to residents that have completed the EMAIL SIGN-UP. We hope that each resident or homeowner will sign up, with a valid email address, to insure delivery of important communications from your HOA Board.
In addition you may also be interested in joining us on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/lakehoustoncommunity/) The Enclave at Kingwood. We hope you will find the Facebook page an opportunity to connect to others within the neighborhood, continue to share information about community meetings & activities, listing of items for sale, and sharing recommendations/reviews for services, contractors, individuals, supplies, etc. that you and/or your fellow neighbors have been sharing on the former mass emails.
As with any sites, we will continue to develop, add or make changes to make them a valuable resource to you. Please take a few minutes to visit and familiarize yourself with its resources and get to know your community. If you have any questions, need additional information, or have any suggestions for the website, we can be reached through the website CONTACT US tab.
Thank you,
The Enclave / Lake Houston Community Association Homeowner’s Association Board

The countdown begins! Kingwood High School staff and students will return to their home campus on March 19. While Kingwood and Summer Creek high schools have shared a campus, restoration at KHS has progressed to meet the move-in date. The kindness that the Summer Creek High School community has shown during this time is an example of the Humble ISD community as a whole. On Saturday, March 17, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. there is a building walk-through for Kingwood High School students in grades 9-12 and their parents. To celebrate the grand re-opening of Kingwood High School there will be a Community Celebration at Kingwood High School from 4 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 24. The event will be an afternoon of games, food trucks, and bands.
