Celebration of Life – Dick Ireland
The family extends an invitation to join them to honor the memories and cherish the moments shared together of Dick’s life. There will be gathering for a Celebration of Life on Sunday, November 10 at Kingwood Country Club’s Lakeside Terrace from 3:00 – 5:00 PM.
Dick was dedicated to our community and served almost 30 years on the Lake Houston Community Association (HOA) Board as President.
(Richard) Dick Ireland, age 87, passed away on Friday, August 23, 2024 at his home on Penmere Ct, The Enclave. In hospice care prior to his death, Dick had been diagnosed with esophageal cancer and at the time of his passing was battling pneumonia. Gail, his wife, said Dick had elected to donate his body to science, so there was no funeral.
Wishing Gail, family and those that knew and loved Dick, strength and comfort.
Again…..Reminder that Dogs Must Be Leashed
Loose, unleashed dogs have been observed AGAIN in The Enclave. These dogs were observed away from the owner’s private property or at the pool park area. Not only is it unlawful, but it is also upsetting to those that do not like dogs or are afraid of dogs. Neighbors walking with their dogs are concerned for their personal safety and their dog(s) when a dog is unleashed and loose along their walk or our common areas, including the park areas, in the neighborhood. Please respect your fellow neighbor and leash up! And don’t forget – pick up after your dog.
And to those that do follow the neighborhood rules and City of Houston ordinances, Thank you for being a good, responsible dog owner & neighbor.
