Best Trash has notified the Lake Houston Community Association of a rate increase.
Beginning with the billing cycle of January 2026, the new rate, for curbside service, will be $22.85 per month or $68.55 per month, plus tax of $5.67 for a total quarterly bill of $74.22
A component of our contract is for an automatic yearly price adjustment based on the twelve-month percent change as reported in the Consumer Price Index-All Urban Consumers, Series ID: CUSR0000SEHG02 Garbage and Trash Collection. The CPI-U data indicates an average of 5.2%.
