Check It Out – – New Pool Fence & Gate Instructions

Instructions for Gate on New Pool Fence:

Step 1:  Using your Pool Key, unlock the deadbolt lock located near the handle.

Step 2:  This is a two-handed operation.  Lift the top of the magnetic gate latch and while still holding up the top, turn the handle, near the deadbolt, to enter.  Once you have opened the gate, release the top of the magnetic gate latch. When you close the gate, it will automatically lock the magnetic gate latch.

Step 3:  To exit the pool area, you will do the same actions.  To unlock the magnetic gate lock, reach through the gate to reach the top of the magnetic gate latch and lift the top.  While holding up the top of the magnetic gate latch, turn the handle, near the deadbolt, to open the gate.  Once you have opened the gate, release the top of the magnetic gate latch. When you close the gate, it will automatically lock the magnetic gate latch.

Step 4. When you leave, USING YOUR POOL KEY, LOCK THE GATE DEADBOLT LOCK LOCATED AT THE GATE HANDLE AREA.

Unacceptable Activity

It saddens me to report that our beautiful neighborhood pool was vandalized either the evening of Thursday, June 2 or Friday, June 3.  The intruders left our pool furniture turned over and pool tools broken and unusable.  Please check your home security cameras and/or doorbell camera systems and see if you have any activity that might be associated to this incident.  Activity such as cars or people walking in the late/dark hours of Thursday or Friday evening.

In addition, the street sign at N. Strathford Ln. and Elmstone Ct. was discovered disconnected or fell from the stop sign, but not removed.  This may or may not be related to the pool incident.  A report has been filed with the City Works of Houston, at 3-1-1, to repair and/or re-install the sign.

These incidents will be reported to the Kingwood Police Station.  I will also ask for Kingwood’s Houston Police Department to patrol our neighborhood during the evening/late evenings to help deter this type of activity.

And yes, it may have just been kids having fun or, as I like to say, kids doing things they know they shouldn’t be doing. But we do not wish to condone this type of disregard of our pool, pool accessories and our neighborhood.  We wish our residents, and their guests, have a nice experience at our private pool.

Additionally, concern has been expressed about the number of people at our pool, whether they are all residents.  If you are at the pool, the best way to find out is to introduce yourself. Hopefully get to know a neighbor!  Let’s please keep our pool for us and our guests and follow the rules as posted at the pool and on the website.

Do not share your pool key

If a new neighbor needs a key, have them contact me or Vickie Cain, Community Manager, Goodwin & Company, Vickie.Cain@goodwintx.com, or 281.852.1155.

Unfortunately at this time, the pool will remain closed until at least August 21, as noted by the inspection report.

The Enclave / Lake Houston Community Association Swimming Pool Rules

The Enclave Resident’s Pool

It is wonderful to see residents are enjoying the pool this year!

Recently several reports have been made concerning misusage of the pool. It appears that several non-residents or guests without residents have been utilizing The Enclave pool. The Enclave pool is not a part of the KSA community pool system or shared with other communities; it is for Enclave residents only or guests accompanied by a resident.

The pool rules are generally on a ‘honor’ system and we hope each resident will take responsibility for following, enforcement of the rules.

Missing Chairs from the Pool Area

We are currently missing two black metal chairs that are a part of the patio table & chairs that we have available at the community pool for residents. During the ‘swimming season’, the patio table and chairs are typically set up on the deck area in the pool area.

If you have any information about the missing chairs, please use this link: CONTACT US.

Thank you.
