Lake Houston/The Enclave Community Pool Update

Here is the latest update on the pool. The pool motor went out and has been replaced; however, the pool company was unable to get the new motor working and suggested the problem may be electrical. After coordinating with an electrician’s schedule, the first electrician came out but was not comfortable working on pool equipment, although they were informed the work was related to a pool motor, So, we arranged for a second electrician. The second electrician came out late Thursday and confirmed that the motor is receiving power. We shared this information with the pool company, and they plan to return to inspect the motor again and work with the supplier to resolve the issue, including replacing the motor if necessary. This work will hopefully begin Tuesday, depending on the supplier’s availability, inventory, etc.

Lake Houston Community Pool Update

Hello Lake Houston Community Homeowners,

We would like to provide you with an update regarding the community pool.

We have contacted a licensed electrician who inspected the pool pump and confirmed that the pump is receiving power. Based on his inspection, the issue appears to be with the pump itself rather than the electrical supply.

We have also contacted our pool service company, and they are scheduled to be onsite early next week to inspect the pump and work toward resolving the issue.

Unfortunately, the pool will remain closed until the necessary repairs are completed.

Once we receive an update from the pool company regarding their findings and the next steps for repair, we will send out another community announcement.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to get the pool back up and running as quickly as possible.

ANNUAL MEETING NOTICE & BOARD OF DIRECTORS SOLICITATION FOR CANDIDACY

LAKE HOUSTON COMMUNITY

Please take notice that the 2026 Annual Meeting of the Members of the Lake Houston Community Association, a Texas nonprofit corporation, has been scheduled for October 14, 2026.

We are currently seeking interested homeowners who wish to run for a position on the Board of Directors.

There are currently two (2) open Board positions, each for a three-year term, expiring at the 2029 Annual Meeting of Members.

We encourage all homeowners who are interested in serving the community and making an impact on the future decisions of the Association to consider running for a position on the Board. To be eligible, you must be an owner listed on the deed of a property within the Lake Houston Community Association.

An official Annual Meeting Notice will be mailed to each homeowner in the near future, along with an absentee ballot. If you do not plan to attend the Annual Meeting in person, you may use the absentee ballot to participate in the meeting and election. Absentee ballots will also assist the Association in meeting the minimum quorum requirement of ten percent (10%), or 17 homeowners, present either in person or by absentee ballot, as required by the governing documents.

Candidate Submission Deadline
If you wish to be named as a candidate on the official ballot for the upcoming Lake Houston Community Association Annual Meeting of Members, please return the attached Candidate Form to Goodwin & Company no later than:

HOUSTON – Council Member Fred Flickinger would like to make District E residents aware that we will be hosting three town hall meetings across District E. The doors will open at 5:00 p.m., with informational booths from various City departments available to answer your questions.
