Garage Sale Wrap-up / Thanks!

This past Saturday, The Enclave held their community-wide garage sale. The HOA Board would like to thank Lilli Czelusniak, Enclave resident, for volunteering to coordinate and take on the role of Garage Sale Coordinator. It was a great day and seemed to be good for those that participated. We thank everyone for your participation either as a participant or as a patient, accommodating resident.

From Lilli Czelusniak, Garage Sale Coordinator

“Thank you to everyone who participated in the Enclave‘s garage sale Saturday.  I hope everyone had a successful sale.  I know we did and I’m so grateful.  The weather was so awesome and the participation was great!  It’s my understanding that we had between 10 and 12 families participating. Hopefully, if we do this again next year, we will have even more people participate!”

About The Sound of Music

“In the picturesque hills of 1930s Austria, a spirited young woman named Maria is sent from her convent to become a governess for the seven children of a widowed naval Captain. She arrives to find a home run with military precision, the children orderly and quiet since their father closed his heart to music.

Maria, however, is a force of nature. She introduces her young charges to the magic of music, teaching them to sing and transforming their lives with joyful songs like ‘My Favorite Things’ and ‘Do-Re-Mi.’ As she fills their home with laughter and harmony, she also begins to melt the Captain’s reserved exterior, and a deep romance blossoms between them.

But their newfound happiness is set against a dark backdrop. With the ominous rise of Nazism, the family is forced to make a difficult choice. Ultimately, they must find the courage to stand for what they believe in and make a daring escape, proving that a family’s love and a little bit of music can triumph over even the greatest of threats.”

Recent Cluster Mailbox Illegal Forced Entry

The Board of Directors was informed that two of the cluster mailboxes located within our community were broken into sometime between Wednesday afternoon, October 1 and Thursday afternoon, October 2. The cluster mailboxes are located on Denmere Ct and the east end of Elmstone Ct. This was reported by an affected neighbor to the US Postal Inspection Service, the law enforcement branch of the US Postal Service. In addition, a request was made to Houston Police Department/Kingwood Office for patrols through the area.

As previously reported on TownSq, we are working quickly to obtain and install new replacement cluster mailboxes. For those that might not be aware, the United States Postal Service offers a free service, Informed Delivery, that allows you to see photos of your mail before it arrives. By signing up for Informed Delivery, you will get Daily Digest email that includes images of your letter-sized mail and notifications of packages scheduled to arrive soon. You can also track and manage your packages as well. To learn more and/or signup: Click here for the USPS Informed Delivery website page.

The Houston Police Department has an Online Citizen Alert slip. From their site:

Citizens can use this form to request increased patrols around their home or business for a prowler, speeding vehicle, excessive burglaries and thefts, being on vacation, or for reasons causing them concern in the “other” box.

The US Postal Service provided the following information in their response to reported break-in:

“We recommend that you review these resources, as they offer practical advice and strategies to enhance the security of your mail and prevent future incidents. Taking proactive steps to secure your mail and personal information is essential for safeguarding yourself in the future.”

Once we receive an estimated time of arrival (ETA) for when the new cluster mailboxes will be onsite, we will provide an update.

Thank you for your patience.
