| LAKE HOUSTON COMMUNITY Please take notice that the 2026 Annual Meeting of the Members of the Lake Houston Community Association, a Texas nonprofit corporation, has been scheduled for October 14, 2026. We are currently seeking interested homeowners who wish to run for a position on the Board of Directors. There are currently two (2) open Board positions, each for a three-year term, expiring at the 2029 Annual Meeting of Members. We encourage all homeowners who are interested in serving the community and making an impact on the future decisions of the Association to consider running for a position on the Board. To be eligible, you must be an owner listed on the deed of a property within the Lake Houston Community Association. An official Annual Meeting Notice will be mailed to each homeowner in the near future, along with an absentee ballot. If you do not plan to attend the Annual Meeting in person, you may use the absentee ballot to participate in the meeting and election. Absentee ballots will also assist the Association in meeting the minimum quorum requirement of ten percent (10%), or 17 homeowners, present either in person or by absentee ballot, as required by the governing documents.
